FREE Stuff is FREE!

I LOVE FREE STUFF!  I go to the http://www.freebies2deals.com/ almost every morning. She Blogs about all the great FREE deals going on everywhere and in UT. It is one of my favorite Blogs!

There is a post today for PG and you get FREE COVERGIRL product! Also when I signed up I got 4 other free items and coupons for great things like TIDE!  Click HERE to go to the blog, and follow what she says! It only took me 3 min. to get awesome stuff.
You may want to put in a junk email if you really don't want to get emails from them, I put my real one cause they usually email me great coupons I can use int the future. And I file the email into a folder so no printing or clipping until I need it!

Do I have to clip coupons?

No you don't. There is no reason to clip all coupons you get. They usually come in the Sunday paper, when you get them, simply write the date on the outside and file or stack out of the way til you need it. If you follow coupon matchup people, they will tell you which pack the coupon is and from what date. It makes using coupons quick and easy. you only cut the ones you are going to use that day :)
If you are not quite ready to start using coupons, this is a great way to save them so when you are ready they are there. The coupons don't all expire for a month or two so you have time!! You will want to do this with PG coupon pack, RP (Red Plum) and SS (Smart Source) packs. If you get the All You magazine it has tons of high dollar coupons inside as well.

Any questions?

Why use coupons?

I have been using coupons lately and it does take a lot of time. Not as much as it did at first, but still time. So it is worth it? YES! I have only been using coupons for about a month now and it is definitely worth every min. I have spent the same amount of money I usually do, but have gotten a lot more items! I am starting to get a good stock pile going so I don't have to buy ALL my grocery items. One thing that I read about starting couponing is that I would spend a little more the first few months than usual. So I have been prepared, but doing great.
The first thing in starting couponing is realizing that it is not just go to the store buy something that you have a coupon for and you save a bunch. This method actually costs more than just simply buying generic (in my experience). The trick is to use a coupon on something that is already on sale for the same $ as generic or cheaper, and to buy several so you don't have to buy it again until it goes back on sale. This way I get the Name Brand item much less than the store brand and I save money!
That is the point right? To spend LESS!

Step 1. Following Blogs

One way that I have learned to save $, time, and get a ton of FREE stuff is by following several different Blogs. They all post similar deals, sometimes the same FREE sample stuff, but usually have a little variety in their posts.
One of my favorites is the Utah Deal Diva. She is from UT and always has good stuff. She also does contests, giveaways, and lets you know about great deals in the Salt Lake Area. She also is the one who signed me up for my extra Newspaper Subscriptions. Also, every Friday she does a post on food storage, which I think is awesome!
I think this is a good place to start. It doesn't take long to go to a blog and scroll through the deals. If there is one you like, sign up for it! There is almost always something I learn or get from her post everyday! Here is the link to her Blog:

Utah Deal Diva: Helping Utah families live on less!

I will let you know more of the Blogs I follow as I go on. I will also have them under Blogs I follow as I update all my information. Also, I am also just starting out on my coupon crazy saving stuff, so any ideas, comments are welcome. Or if you have any questions, let me know!

Another Blog About Saving Money??

Yes, I have started another savings Blog. I have been learning how to save more money and it has been working out great. I have had a lot of friends and family ask me how and what I am doing. This is my way of letting everyone know just what is going on. I am going to post what I am doing to save money. What websites I am going to, great places to go to save money at great deals I find, and ways I am earning extra money. If you would like to follow along, great! I will let you all know the details. And I am trying to learn all the ways to connect you directly to the deals. Have fun, save money, and enjoy the ride.
